Freemat Assignment 1

For this Freemat Assignment, given the value of the two voltage and three resistors, the value of the current going through the middle resistor must be answered. 

To do this, it would be easier to show the values as a picture on the circuit as shown here:

As shown in the Picture above, to find the current going through R3 (Aka i3) first, Kirchhoff's Current Law is used. Then It is applied to Kirchhoff's Voltage law. 

Once that is completed, Freemat is used to find out i3 as shown in the picture below:

R is the resistor and it is typed as the following based on the result of the KVL. V is voltage also typed based on KVL. Then after using the inv commanded indicated with: I=inv (R) * V (Or basically multiplying by matrix) the three currents (i1, i2, and i3) is found out. 

Thus, the Current passing through the resistor i3 is -0.1857.
